A #NUFCTakeover thread:

❌ The Saudi government have been found guilty of not doing enough to stop piracy in their country. The PL cannot allow KSA to own #nufc based on the O&D criteria.

✅ The WTO and @TheFootballLaw have established no legal link between PIF and KSA.
❌ MBS has accepted ultimate responsibility for the murder of Khashoggi albeit making it clear he had no direct involvement. Does this constitute a crime, as per the O&D test? Are the PL worried the Turkish court will find MBS personally guilty?
✅ The UK government consider KSA a key partner and have a trading agreement in place despite the fact that their remit is much wider than the PL O&D test. They clearly consider Saudi investment as acceptable; yet the PL are hesitant to let them invest in a football club?
Any conclusion I attempt to make here is irrelevant. I just wanted to list the above for my own benefit to be honest.

It’s clear it’s a tough spot the PL are in; yet it should never take 4 months to sort this out. And if it does, why are fans not given some sort of update?
But even my first point is debateable. Is it really a crime to not do enough to stop piracy? KSA weren’t found guilty of running BeOutQ... 🤷‍♂️
