The extension of the Luas to Finglas includes the provision of a Park & Ride facility at Charlestown - this will help commuters from north Dublin, Meath and beyond to leave their cars outside the city. It's disappointing to see @TFIupdates still designing on-carriageway cycle lanes which are interrupted by set down areas and bus stops though. There's no shortage of space here to design this properly and provide safe cycling infrastructure.

And there's no attempt to make this junction safe for cycling and it's pretty hostile for people walking too.
Why does the cycle track stop suddenly here? There's plenty of space for it to continue alongside the Luas line
