— a (hopefully) helpful thread for my fellow artists out there!
before i start let me say that i am fairly new to digital art and there's a high chance you probably know all these tricks BUT someone out there is yet to venture the world of digiart so these may be "basic" to you, but it may be a game changer to others! so pls be respectful! ♡
i'd also like to add that this is fast paced (unintentionally a little "too" fast paced") so i recommend you slow it down, pause at certain parts, or rewatch! if you don't understand something/have more questions, feel free to dm me! lets go! ꒰◍ˊ◡ˋ꒱੭⁾⁾ ♡
1. SUBSCRIBE TO IBIS PAINT ON YT!

- they post simple, straight to the point, and subbed tutorial videos that help BIG TIME. my standards were low but they proved me wrong! their vids are very helpful esp for beginners. pls check their channel out!

2. HOW TO DOWNLOAD CUSTOM FONTS
3. HOW TO CREATE A REPEATING PATTERN OF YOUR DRAWING (like those cute lockscreens on pinterest)
4. HOW TO INCREASE/DECREASE A BRUSH'S MAXIMUM/MINIMUN SIZE
5. HOW TO CREATE A GRID (as a guide or a photo divider)
6. HOW TO WATCH AND/OR EXPORT YOUR PROCESS VIDEOS
7. HOW TO LESSEN TIME COLORING/USE THE BUCKET TOOL

note: i also recently found you can CLEAR an area using the bucket tool! if you can't figure it out but would want to try it, dm me!

note: very repetitive but i judt want to say EXPLORE! you won't learn if you keep staying in your comfort zone. i challenge YOU to use tools, filters, etc. that you have never used before!
