Residents have taken a new approach to fly-tipping by transforming their littered alleyways into valued spaces. Mouldy sofas, unwanted white goods and piles of rubbish have been replaced with plants, trees, benches.

#Middlesborough: 




This alleyway in Middlesbrough is now a haven of hanging baskets, plants and trees. The Alley was well-kept in 1960s but as the decades dragged on residents began to dump their rubbish on cobbles
.

Old Trafford, Greater #Manchester:


One of our own projects, consisting of 328 planters, 3327 plants, 142 bird houses and 59 seating areas, with a focus on community spirit, residents now have a healthy, green place they can relax and socialise.
