#COVID19: The boss of Germany's Robert Koch Institute appears in front of cameras for the first time in a month to raise the alarm.

"The latest developments in the number of cases make me and everyone at the RKI very concerned."
There have been 3611 newly recorded cases in the past week in Germany, with 633 cases in the past 24 hours.

RKI Boss Lothas Wieler warns it could be signs of a resurgence of the virus. “We don't know if that's the beginning of a second wave. But it could be."
Wieler pleads with the public to continue following hygiene and distancing rules.

"We cannot let up." #covid19
