Last September, the IDF used deception to fool Hezbollah. It helicoptered fake wounded soldiers to Rambam Hospital and banned the media from reporting on what was really happening.
In the end, the move worked. Hezbollah bought the bait. Thought its attack worked. Event was over.

After yesterday still unclear what's happening. Israel claims Hezbollah operatives crossed border & its troops stopped them. Hezbollah claims there weren't & it'll still attack. If there was an attack, @IDFSpokesperson would have video to prove. So far, he hasn't released it.

Usually, Israeli media rallies behind @IDF but this time its asking questions. Two primary reasons why: First, the September deception left stain on trust of IDF. The media doesn't trust @IDFSpokesperson.
Second, the Netanyahu-Gantz fights. Is this also political or not?
