I mean, look at all this under-utilized public space on the weekend. Thousands of residents are riding more nowadays, and are looking for spaces to recreate, and opening up Danforth Ave here would really help people get around. #BikeTO #ActiveTO #ScarbTO #Ward20 #Ward21
I believe residents would welcome an #ActiveTO installation here, and would probably be surprisingly well used, especially with #DestinationDanforth, and impacts to local traffic would likely be minimal. Perhaps close only the westbound lanes? #BikeTO #ScarbTO #Ward20 #Ward21
Approaching one of the most hostile/dangerous sections for both #bikeTO and #walkTO in all of Scarborough. This interchange was designed during a time where engineers simply prioritized the movement of cars.

The sad irony here is that amongst this mini highway interchange is that the Scarborough Cenotaph is actually located between this mess of 'roads.' So Scarborough's War Memorial is not accessible.
