This won't be a popular post, but governors&mayors in cities that are experiencing violence need to put into place a curfew.

It's apparent that the protests are peaceful, with ordinary people participating, thousands at a time. But when they go home, the agitators come out.

At night, after the peaceful protesters go home, agitators, both right-wing&left-wing, come out. Commercial scale fireworks, slingshots with ball bearings, frozen bottles, even Molotov cocktails.

Extreme right-wing and extreme left-wing segments of our society want chaos.

In these agitators, there are political operatives that want Trump to appear presidential. There are far right-wing agitators that want a civil war. There are far left-wing extremists that want anarchy. None of them love America, none of them want peace.

Absolutely, allow peaceful protest. Listen to the protesters. Put in place a curfew, arrest anyone who commits violent acts: be it left/right, civilian/military/Feds/LE. If someone is breaking the law, arrest them, publish their names &affiliations next day, prosecute them.

If we don't agree to that, many of middle America (the ones who swing the elections) will see the protests as violent and, albeit reluctantly, vote for Trump. Lets not help the bastard win another term.
