I'm honestly so tired of people saying "y1bo hates girls" cuz he doesn't. Didn't y'all see how he interacts with his female co-stars? Or the produce contestants? Or SDC contestant like Mendy or that other girl who did locking? Or his labelmates and other girls in the industry?
Yibo treats everyone with huge amount of respect regardless of their gender, age, or background. He's never too lenient to anyone even if they're older (he criticizes dancing/perf of ppl older than him too) but he also never belittle or be condescending to younger ppl, even kids.
Yibo is quite shy to people he just meets, whether they're men or women. Yibo said it takes time for him to warm up to people.
