I know a lot of people are on the job hunt right now and could use some motivation.

If you haven’t heard back from the job you applied for...
There's so much uncertainty in the job market right now, that it's very possible they aren't hiring for the role anymore.
Sometimes the person who put the job posting up got a promotion, and is now waiting for their replacement to make the decision.
Sometimes the head of the department quit or has been let go.
Sometimes a job posting is up for someone internal's immigration process (DoL process).
Sometimes job postings are just to gain insight into whether or not candidates in X exist in that city.
Sometimes their job description doesn't actually ladder up to the expectations of the role (or their narrow-minded view of it) and you're deemed not a fit.
Sometimes they want a Senior person but only want to pay Junior rates.
Sometimes they already had a friend in mind for the role and were doing their due diligence.
Sometimes the company switched priorities.
Sometimes a rash of applicants has made them realize they need a different role.
Aaaand sometimes they might have just caught your email at the wrong time on the wrong day, and for whatever reason skimmed it and put it in the "no" pile.
Some companies get so many submissions, you’re bound to slip through the cracks.

Don’t give up, keep pushing, you got this.
