Obama won Southeast Wisconsin both times he ran, but it swung 10 points to Trump in 2016 as he won by 7 points. Clinton even lost Kenosha County, which is essentially a necessary county for a Democrat to win the state. 2/5
In 2018, Evers only did one point better than Clinton did, but he was able to flip Kenosha County and he ended up winning the state. The Village of Somers, north of the City of Kenosha, flipped from Trump to Evers and is a key municipality to watch come November. 3/5
When looking at the vote change map you can see how Evers did better almost everywhere in Kenosha County. Biden will want to either copy or improve upon Evers' performance. 4/5
However, you can see some of the problems Democrats have in Racine County as Walker did better than Trump in the City of Racine. Turnout among the city's minority community is typically better during Presidential years. 5/5
