why people need to stop calling hc a brat / annoying: a mini thread, especially for non-sunflowers
...im so tired of saying this but some people still don't get it so im saying it again...STOP calling h*chan annoying or a brat or anything like that and stop telling sunflowers they're overreacting or dismissing us when we voice this opinion and please just listen to us
so many people seem to be calling him this bc they think it's a funny way to talk about his playful personality while a) dismissing the rude implications the terms brat and especially annoying have and even more so b) they are completely ignoring who hc really is
haechan is the type of person who always goes out of his way and does whatever he can to put a smile on the face of people around him, no matter how he is feeling physically or mentally, he selflessly thinks of others and then himself and wants nothing but to make them happy
and if you pay attention to hc outside of the extremely segmented personality that so many people falsely put on him as 'whiny' 'annoying' etc you will see that he is not only happy, cheerful, selfless and so caring towards all his members he is also quite mature and reserved
watch haechan during dance practices, recording songs etc or even his vlives and ACTUALLY watch him & you will see what I'm talking about in how he is v serious about what he does, he is mature and reserved and extremely multifaceted and yes, all while still being happy & playful
calling him a 'brat' or 'annoying' reduces him down to some extremely rude one-dimensional personality that isn't even close to who he is while completely ignoring so much of who he ACTUALLY is for the sake of some laughs and overall just insulting and degrading him
this fandom has an absolutely terrible habit of coming up with "personalities" for members or "things they are known for / as" that are rude and sometimes degrading & fans of members keep voicing out their opinions asking people to stop saying these things but here we are again
all im saying is to PLEASE listen when people ask you to stop calling members certain things because it is rude to continue to do so, and it shows that you really don't care about the members and are willing to make a "joke" at their expense which is disgusting
as an additional note if you are ever talking about this matter even if you are saying nice things trying to explain or defend him please censor your words so they don't show up in his searches! you can say h*chan or hc like i did in this thread, thank youuuuu
