1: COVID-19 has shown how much support our schools & community need. I know how difficult decisions about school re-opening are for everyone involved, especially teachers & families. We need to make sure everyone is able to make the best decision for their family & stay safe.

2: For today: Reach out to your leaders. Controlling the virus will be the best way to support everyone in our community & make sure schools are safe. Keep following COVID-19 safety measures including wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.

3: For tomorrow: We need leaders who listen to teachers & work for everyone in our community. My mom was a public school teacher-they’ve been telling us what they need. Teachers need competitive wages, & more supplies. Every student deserves access to excellent public schools.

4: Pre K & afterschool programs set students up for success. Every family needs access to these programs. Even before COVID-19, when asked what people should do if they can't afford childcare, my opponent gave no solutions & just said we need more church & family involvement.
