Since @RealDonaldTrump has decided not to throw out the first pitch at the Yankees game (basically the only good part of being POTUS) I honor America with this collection of presidents eating hot dogs at the ballpark.

Let's start with Eisenhower, a notorious dog man.
Of course @dick_nixon was among our most baseball-savvy presidents. Here he is chowing down menacingly. I give this an 8/10.
Here's good old Jack Kennedy taking presidential hot dog eating to the level of high art. Easily a top JFK photo and a top hot dog photo all in one.
Getting back on the timeline, I couldn't find Gerald Ford eating a hot dog in the stands. So here's one of Ford living the dream at the 1976 All Star Game.
For good measure, here's Ford and future Republican presidential contender Bob Dole enjoying some dual dog lunching.
I couldn't find a picture of Jimmy Carter eating a hot dog and that's probably why he lost.
When the Reagan Revolution arrived, so did a resurgence in wholesome hot dog photo ops. Here's Dutch in the Orioles dugout.
And now we get into some major league baseball presidents. George H.W. Bush knew how to take in a ballgame AND how to dress a hot dog.
Look at this man go beast mode on a mustard relish dog. Maybe how much presidents love hot dogs has nothing to do with their electability?
I'd call Bill Clinton more of a hot dog minimalist after the excesses of the Reagan and Bush topping-heavy dogs.
Can we just go back for a second and give proper respect to OG baseball fanatic George H.W. Bush?
I have so many photos of George W. Bush eating hot dogs at ballgames that I daren't post them all. The man ran a baseball team for crying out loud. He's the VIP of the hot dog world.
Barack Obama got serious about hot dog diplomacy and snarfed one down with then-British PM David Cameron.
Chicagoan, hot dog enthusiast, baseball lover. We forgive @BarackObama for liking the White Sox instead of the correct answer, the Chicago Cubs.
All this is to say it's kind of funny that Donald Trump, self-described branding master, missed the easiest branding opportunity of the presidency. You throw the ball, you eat the hot dog, the people love it.

At least @JoeBiden is already practicing!
