@BTS_twt will be releasing an official - currently untitled - single on August 21st. This thread will be outlining information as to how this upcoming track can be successful in Australia with the help of ARMY!

Streaming platforms + ARIA Charts

In Australia, certain streaming services are counted towards the ARIA Charts. The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts which counts as a record for highest selling songs / albums gathered through data from eligible +

services. ARIA Charts records data from both physical and online services. As this song does not include a physical release, the ARIA Charts records data from online platforms which includes:

- Spotify
- iTunes / Apple Music
- Deezer
- Google Play

While all of these platforms +

contribute towards the ARIA Charts, we would specifically like to point out that Spotify is the best platform to stream on. This will be explained later on in the thread.

For the ARIA Charts, we hope to aim for either a Top 20 or Top 10 single on first week tracking. Boy +

the more people who we have streaming on Spotify means the higher streams we can get which can help break through into playlists. The playlists we will be aiming to get this track into include:

- Hot Hits Australia

In terms of streaming and ARIA’s, we know that 150 paid streams = 1 unit. These streams help songs acquire units, and when a song earns a certain amount of units, it can be certified gold, platinum, etc. Units are not only produced by streams and are most supported by sales on +

eligible platforms, the main one being iTunes. 1 song sale = 1 unit! High amounts of streams and purchases will be our most needed contribution to this track as a means to have a high debut on ARIA and able to gain gold certification quickly! This brings us to our next section

iTunes + radio play

I am sure by now that everyone knows what iTunes is with all the amazing charting happening around the world! As Australia is one of the Top 10 music markets in the world, iTunes is actively used by Australians everyday and plays a large part in songs +
