Hinata - Naruto - Sakura - Sasuke love square a thread:
Okay Iâve been holding out on this one but Iâll try to explain why the endgame couples make sense and why those other relationship couldnât have happened in the story
I know most people liked to refer to the whole love concept as a triangle between team 7... but while looking back from the story it was actually a square and the reason I say this is because Hinata is very much involved in this process. Now we know Hinata has had feelings
for Naruto since the beginning (Naruto being oblivious to those feelings). Naruto had a crush on Sakura (since we have been introduced to her character) and Sakura starting out with a crush on Sasuke...
Usually in love square the people involved in them will end up being in a

Well start with Sasu///Hina. In this case the two characters have rarely
interacted in canon and if Kishimoto wanted these two to end up together he would have set up scenarios where these two characters could get to know each other (or hint for Sasuke having feelings for Hinata which he does not) but he has not.
Nothings wrong with the ship but there is no foundation or base for the ship to sail... whenever we see Hinata in the story her feelings for Naruto have been empathized and the only interaction that these two do have is from Boruto the movie (and also from one of the novels)
not much for me to elaborate on why Sasuke and Hinata didnât end up happening since it kind of shows itself in the series....
Naru///Saku
Okay for this ship they do have a good foundation and their friendship has grown over the course of the series.. i

Sakura started off not liking Naruto to becoming one of his good friends in canon.... now according to Kishimoto he stated that he didnât want to make Sakura âappear weakâ by making it seem as if she only fell for Naruto because he became the hero of the leaf.
now I at one point didnât really understand how she would appear weak as my thought process before was âshe would be stronger because she is moving on from someone she loved for such a long time.â But looking back through the series... Kishimoto implied that for Sakura
to continue spilling tears for the man she loved since the beginning and fight for him when many people wanted him dead really does showcase how strong she has become.
Now back to Naru//Saku

Letâs say that these two ended up together.. now since we were introduced to a love
square what would happen to Sasuke and Hinata? They would be completly left out of the whole thing... letâs remember that the end game for love squares is there everyone in the square is with someone and isnât left out... meaning if NaruSaku were to be canon then having
Sasuke and Hinata build a potential dyamic would be important. Okay letâs explain NaruHina and SasuSaku
SasuSaku
Okay with Sasuke and Sakuraâs relationship as fans the farewell scene from part one has been reanimated over and over again... showcasing Sasukeâs impact on her

Now theirs no denying Narutoâs feelings towards Sakura as Sai states it to her in the Land of Iron... but weird thing is pattern of repeating scenes is how Kishimoto emphasizes the importance of the relationships...notice how in Narutoâs case his flashbacks with Sakura havenât
been referenced more then once in the canon moments in the manga (sure SP has given Naruto x Sakura moments in filler episodes) but the big difference between Narutoâs feelings for Sakura and her feelings for Sasuke is that Sakuraâs feelings have been growing into love
and also her feelings have connected not only her character but Sasukeâs as well. In Narutoâs case after the 5 kage summit arc his feelings for Sakura has stopped becoming a focus.
Now back to SasuSaku
For Sakura to love the man who wanted to destroy the hidden leaf at one

point despite the many times that he has tried to push her away shows how strong she is (I will admit I at first didnât understand Kishimoto when he said this) but seeing as her heart continues to ache for him and Kakashi said it himself that Sakura wasnât trying
âTo make Sasuke hersâ showcases how her story arc was how her feelings have grown from a selfish crush of just wanting him to herself to falling in love with him and wanting him to be safe.

NaruHina
With Naruto and Hinataâs relationship it was stated in Naruto the Last
that Naruto didnât know what love was until the events of the movie... which while looking back we canât deny that Naruto had a crush on Sakura.... but like I stated earlier we havenât really Naruto actively try and pursue that relationship with Sakura (the way Sakuraâs feelings
have been emphasized and showcased over and over again). Hinata was the first person to acknowledge Naruto and love him for who he is.... Kishimoto tryâs to add subtle hints from the series on Narutoâs end that he does care for Hinata but dosent understand romantic love and what
the feeling is called.... I do recommend those who donât understand NaruHina to read the Naruto the last novel to understand Narutoâs perspective better.
To sum this up a important part of the love square is that the endgames have every person in the square in a relationship... the way Kishimoto will emphasize past moments over and over again is heavy foreshadowing (like how the farewell scene in part one stuck with Sakura) or how
Hinata watching Naruto train from afar stuck with her.
Iâd also like to add that Naruto recognizing that Sakura likes Sasuke (during the hospital scene in part one not only showcased how much stronger her feelings for Sasuke were but also his acceptance to the whole thing)
Iâd also like to add that Naruto recognizing that Sakura likes Sasuke (during the hospital scene in part one not only showcased how much stronger her feelings for Sasuke were but also his acceptance to the whole thing)
and he brought that back up during the fake confession scene because he KNEW how Sakura truly feltand it was his way of letting his crush for her fade off.
Conclusion: NaruHina and SasuSaku in a logic sense assured that all 4 characters were going to be in loving relationships
