A member of @DiMarzio's team, @MatteMoretto says Arsenal have offered €25m + a player in exchange for Thomas Partey. Atletico Madrid want €50m.
The Guardian say Arsenal's first offer which was a bid of €25m plus a player was rejected a 2 weeks ago. It is understood Arsenal returned with a new offer today of the same amount including Matteo Guendouzi in the deal. (1/2)

Guendouzi’s current preference would be a move to Barcelona, but contrary to other reports, there are currently no formal negotiations ongoing between Arsenal & Barcelona. However, Guendouzi’s representatives are in constant contact with Barcelona about a potential deal. ( @GFFN)
On Willian Borges:
•ESPN Brasil (Last week)- Arsenal hierarchy are optimistic he will join them.
•SkySports (Today) - He is close to signing a new deal at Chelsea.
•Guardian (Today)-There is growing believe he will end up at Arsenal.
Willian is a player of interest. The Brazilian winger is happy in London & it would not be a surprise if he were to follow in the footsteps of David Luiz in making the switch from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates. ( @goal)
Lille president Gerard Lopez on Arsenal centre back target Gabriel Magalhães: “We spoke with Gabriel Magalhães and gave him the go-ahead to leave. He will decide his next club this week.” ( @lequipe)
According to Sky Germany, Inter, Arsenal & Chelsea are all interested in Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter.
Arsenal, Tottenham & Leicester are the options for Philippe Coutinho in the Premier League (Catalan Sport)
Philippe Coutinho has already rejected Arsenal once. This is because they baulked at having to cover his full wages & asked Coutinho to take a pay cut to join them. Arsenal then asked for a few days to think about it so the door isn't closed. ( @SPORT)
Arsenal officials are expected in Lisbon between Monday & Tuesday to try to close the transfer of Joelson. They will be accompanied by Kia Joorabchian. A Bola insists Arsenal are willing to trigger the player’s €45m release clause. ( @abolapt)
Skysports reporter @SkyKaveh on Mesut Özil’s future: “It is clear that Arsenal would prefer if he left the club this summer simply to get his wages off their books.”
Sokratis Papastathopoulos will not ask to leave Arsenal this summer despite a lack of football & has told Mikel Arteta he will fight for his place in the team. ( @MarkyMBryans)
Arteta is keen to bring Dani Ceballos back to the club for another season, with Arsenal currently talking to Real about another season-long loan. A permanent move is unlikely at this stage, but Arsenal are confident of sealing another season-long loan for the 23-year-old. ( @Goal)
Mikel Arteta is looking at his midfield as the key priority this summer & wants to add a box-to-box midfielder. Thomas Partey is his primary target, having long been identified as a player who could make a significant impact in north London. ( @charles_watts)
Thomas Partey is well aware of Arsenal’s interest & is understood to be open to the idea of moving to Arsenal, which is why he has so far held off signing the new contract that has been offered to him by Atletico. ( @charles_watts)
