I’m really sad rn so here’s a thread of bnha characters givin hugs to you when you’re sad:
Izuku will always ask for permission before hugging you, just cause he wants to make sure you’re comfy with it. LOVES hugging his friends, gives out SO many hugs. He’s the kind of hugger to always give a second squeeze and ask if you’re okay before he pulls away.
Todoroki doesn’t give hugs often, and when he does, they’re very gentle. No squeeze, but still a very nice and warm hug. He stays quiet since he isn’t exactly sure what to say to help, but he sincerely hopes the lil hug makes things better.
Bakugo ONLY gives hugs if they’re really needed, but it WILL be the tightest huh you’ve ever received. Very safe, 10/10. Probably calls you a dumbass before hugging you and telling you that everything’s OBVIOUSLY going to be okay.
Iida is an amazing hugger. Just like with Izuku, he ALWAYS asks for consent first. Extra tall, so (for most folks) you get to do that cozy thing where you nestle your head in his neck. He speaks real softly, telling you how proud he is of you. His hugs linger for a while.
Ochako gives 10/10 hugs. Always starts the hug with one big squeeze. They’re usually short, but she’ll give you a lot of them and extra cuddles to make up for it. Tells you silly jokes and puns to cheer you up.
Kirishima is always SUPER excited to give you hugs!! His FAVORITE thing is cheering you up, and what better way to do it than giving you a big ol squish? His hugs feel very safe and strong. Definitely one of those hugs that feels like he’s protecting you. Likes to pick you up!!
Aizawa never says anything when he hugs you, he just wraps his arms around you and holds you close. Will slowly stroke your hair until you calm down. He knows what it’s like to struggle and need help, so he’s extra patient. 10/10 hugs, even if they aren’t very common from him.
Hawks is less of a hugger and more of a cuddler. He’ll lay with you, singing quietly to his lil songbird. Not in any rush to get up and do anything, so he doesn’t mind laying with you until you feel okay again.
Dabi very rarely gives hugs. He kinda hates them. But that makes it extra special when he DOES hug you. He can tell how much you need it, so he’s willing to make the sacrifice. He’s tall and lanky, so it isn’t the softest hug, but it’s warm, and you know he cares.
