basically if any show, game, comic, etc. claims that they have a character that's a loa, it's automatically disrespectful as hell.
also anything claiming they're gods are doubly disrespectful because Haitian voodou believes in one God. There are powerful god-like loa, but they themselves aren't God.
to put it this way: unless that loa was an ancestor or a past relative or smth akin to that, it's best not to put a face to that spirit
