- it’s foreshadowed that arthur will lose nimue to someone or someone will take her from him (the gawain scene)
- lancelot is known in the legends for “taking” arthur’s love interest, and tho that was usually guinevere, cursed has already changed things from the og legend+
+bc in the og legend, merlin and nimue were lovers and lancelot was nimues son
- now cursed has kept og legend storylines and since it’s heavily hinted that arthur and nimue were never fated to work out/someone will take her away, lancelot seems to b a very good contender.
- along with the way that nimue is super important to lancelot’s arc (which is why he’s known in the legends as lancelot of the lake) as well as the foreshadowing that arthur’s love is taken from him by lancelot, that’s another reason why aside from the support we’ve been+
