Among Americans domestic violence is a bi-directional issue ESPECIALLY amongst African Americans
In DV cases BM killing BW more than BW kill BM is a fairly recent phenomenon.

Up until the 1970s BW killed BM at a higher rate. This equalised in the 90s and tipped to the other side in the 2000s but killings of BM still occur to this day.
WW and BW are raped at almost the same rate
WW and BW suffer sexual violence other than rape by an intimate partner at virtually the same rate

BW face sexual violence other than rape at a lower rate than WW
BW are raped by an intimate partner at a slightly lower rate than WW
5% of male homicides is the cause of IPV for both BM and WM
56.8% of female homicides is the cause of IPV for WW and 51.3% for BW.
Looking at American homicide victim rate we can do some math...
(Baring interracial and homosexual relationships)

Taking the figures in the table below and the IPV homicide rates above, in 2018 the IPV homicide victim total was:

BM - 312
WM - 213

BW - 599
WW - 1041

Meaning...
... for every 1 WM killed by a WW, WM killed 4.9 WW

For every 1 BM killed by a BW, BM killed 1.92 BW.

Therefore, in terms of bidirectional IPV homicides WM murder their partners at just over 2.5 times the rate BM do.
According to my calculations, among black people killed due to IPV black men account for 34%

Among white people killed due to IPV white men account for 17%.
Looking at raw numbers BM would be 1.46 X more likely to be murdered as a result of IPV than WM.

But it’s important to take into account that the white population is 4.5 X greater than the black population.

1.46 x 4.5 = 6.57

BM are 6.57 x more likely than WM to die from IPV
Using the same formula BW are 2.6 x more likely than WW to be killed as a result of IPV.

This is after taking into account population size differences.

Please do keep in mind my calculations are only estimations but the general trend should stand up to scrutiny.
