2/ Example: Chevron is a major sponsor of the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation, as well as a board member of the Houston Police Foundation and sponsor of the Houston Police Department’s mounted patrol. They also have a seat on the Salt Lake City Police Foundation board.

3/ Utilities are some of the most dangerous and dirty polluters and often hold board seats on police foundations where they operate. DTE, a top-polluting utility based in Detroit, has a seat on the board of the Detroit Public Safety Foundation & is a major sponsor of their events

4/ Fossil fuel companies depend on Big Banks for funding. Some of the biggest fossil fuel financiers also direct and fund police foundations including Bank of America. BofA has seats on police foundations boards in NYC, Chicago, and Charlotte and donates to even more.
