This EC, Danchenko's history, and his connections to the anti- and NeverTrumpers at Brookings, Lawfareblog, the NSC, and in Congress are going to start coming out in more detail in the days and weeks ahead. This was not released at this time as a coincidence.

This "EC" is the pivot point on where "good faith" pursuit of a lawful investigation turns into something else. Any official with knowledge of this information who nevertheless continued to drive Crossfire Hurricane--and later the Mueller Investigation--forward has problems.
