Let's talk about #WriterInMotion. What is this crazy project and can I get involved?

The answer is YES. First let's highly what it is, and what it isn't.
#WriterInMotion is a 5-week blog project where writers see a prompt, write a short story, and blog about their progress through revisions.

It is for any writer, no matter what age, market, genre, etc.

It is NOT a contest.
Who can join?

Anyone. You do not have to sign up to join, and you can write erotic non-fiction about the breeding habits of dryer socks in the wild.

This is YOUR project. And when it's all done, you'll have a snazzy new short story or curated article. #WriterInMotion
During week 4 of the project, some awesome editors get involved.

If you would like to have a professional editor critique your short story, you can sign up for one.

OR... you can use week 4 to have more critique partners read over your work. Your choice. #WriterInMotion
But again... you do not have to sign up for anything unless you'd like a professional edit during week 4.

If you want to stick with CPs... yay, they're tons of fun. Again, this is your project, your choice. #WriterInMotion
Don't have a blog site, but still want to join? NO PROBLEM!

We have an awesome forum setup for you to blog about your progress, share your story, and meet other #WriterInMotion writers. https://writerinmotion.com/WIMForum/index.php
Okay, but what if I see the prompt and I can't think of anything?

No problem! Head over to the #WriterInMotion brainstorming area on the forum, drop a thread about your struggle, and our community will help you talk out your worries and your ideas. https://writerinmotion.com/WIMForum/index.php?board=17.0
But what if I'm a terrible writer and the story is a pile of flaming dog poo?

Doesn't matter.😋 ALL stories start as piles of flaming dog poo. #WriterInMotion wants to see your process from that fiery goo to a gorgeous shining diamond of a story.
Doesn't matter if you're writing your first draft or have 20+ novels in publication... every writer struggles.

Our goal at #WriterInMotion is to share that struggle as a collective, because none of us are alone. We all agonize over our stories and how to get them just right.
