Good news for fans of traditional sacred music: The choir of St. James Spanish Place in London has resumed singing at the Masses the parish posts to YouTube. This is one of the world's most talented adult choirs, singing in an acoustically perfect church with two pipe organs. 1/3
You'll hear majestic hymns you haven't heard elsewhere, for example in the below video of an Ordinary Form Mass, the opening hymn at 14:30 and the closing hymn at 1:15:05. 2/3
You'll here Credo III sung at 43:05 with the choir split into two groups, one group at each of the two organs, alternating on the stanzas. It's an education in what sacred music can be, given sufficient talent and resources. 3/3
