I'm realizing that most people who refuse to participate in simple public health precautions don't know what a ventilator is. This is not a ventilator. It's an oxygen mask. Content in thread may be disturbing for those who've experienced intubation.

Most people briefly intubated for surgery have temporary after effects such as sore throat. Lengthy intubation can result in permanent damage.
"Most people who are hospitalized with COVID-19 will recover" is technically true, but the definition of recovery is extremely broad.
