2/5 Turns out they were a group of Americans who had told the border guards they were on their way to Alaska.
Which they obviously weren't: it's a loophole being exploited:

It takes a ferry ride to get where I live, it's NOT 'on the way' to Alaska!

To go on a PUB CRAWL in our city to as many bars as possible.
Needless to say, this freaked out my friend and, it turns out, the bar owner who had ALSO overheard their boasts.
Which, if even ONE of them had #COVID19, would potentially infect DOZENS of locals!

My friend left before they arrived, so I don't know the end of the story; I may stop by the pub this week to find out.
My point?
Idiots like these Pub-Clubbers are why we need to FULLY close Canada's borders to KEEP OUT such uncaring fools.
