Approximately around 3pm Hormuud Telecom Somalia released a statement to their clients and Somali diaspora on their technical issues and assured them that they're diligently working on fixing the situation

#Netblocks statements created a narrative of doom and gloom.
By 10 am without any factual evidence they "confirmed" the outage was on purpose and due to the removal of former PM Khaire. & they kept going linking the 2 but now tagging EU/US2Somalia "disapproval"

After Hormuud Telecom Somalia released their statement #Netblocks was still adamant on the outage being orchestrated by Somali administration. They dismiss Hormuud as "just a letter circulating around" then reply to analysts like @JustAwHirsi @HarunMaruf to push the narrative

Knowing Somalia and Turkey have a mutual brotherly relationship this was disheartening news.
Going through Turkeyblocks page it was articles like "wikipedia is censored" or "periscope censored a football game" in Turkey. I moved on and digged somewhere else

In 2018 Netblocks partnered with another 'charity' organization named Internet Society to start an initiative called COST. (still running) It monitors how much a country looses in revenue when the internet is shut down.
