Patients and the relatives I tell you have the weirdest food habits
The pt will be vomiting with just water on admission, and after a few hours of antiemetics action, the wife of the guy will come with a cup of hot coffee or tea or idlis with sambhar + 3 chutneys
They pt will be catching breath, when they decide it's the best time to have a big plate of rice or biryani
Multiple episodes of diarrhea, and at the moment comes the inescapable desire to have the most spicy and indigestible foods
Reminds me of an incident, this sincere intern was properly giving antibiotics to this guy with diarrhea, which was not coming down even after 3 or 4 days

Accidentally, Int stumbles upon the pt having lunch, a big pack of chicken fried rice, with exotic side dishes
Apparently he was having such meal everyday¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

This int had a few "words" with him and safe to say, both his eating and bowel habits changed drastically in the next 3 days to discharge 😂😂
