A little over a month ago, I put out a tweet that covered my thoughts on the Square One documentary. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in all things Michael Jackson, both sides of the fence. I’m not one to blindly believe without having made damn sure I’ve researched for myself.
Square One covers the ‘93 allegations, but I still knew nothing about ‘05 & last year’s Leaving Neverland. I’m rarely emotional, I rarely cry, I’m usually level-headed & can accept life for what it is. I researched & I, unashamedly, cried like I’ve never cried in years.
My heart physically hurt as I was reading. The strength & courage that it must have taken to go on is unimaginable, unfathomable. How does someone continue to face the world after having been subject to such treatment?
I purposefully didn’t mention my “thoughts” until now.
A) I wanted all of you to read on instead of dismissing from the first tweet.
B) There is no “I think” or “I believe”, there are only provable facts, one truth. All of which lead to complete vindication.

I started this thinking he was a weird entertainer from the 80s. I now comprehend how misinformed I was. Yes, he was eccentric but he was also a genius. Name me one genius without eccentricities. His accusers broke him, but he was innocence in human form.
He’s passed but now no longer feels the pain & anguish of being lied about in the worst ways, the sadness of missing the childhood he never knew & the suffering that he understood like no other. He gave without counting, yet this humility & generosity became acts of “grooming”.
Humankind should be ashamed. Every act of kindness twisted against him yet his spirit & compassion remained transcendent. We were so fortunate to experience his magic, but we just couldn’t cope with such selflessness. You deserved the fucking world, legend. Rest easy, angel
