I have ways I prefer receiving critique*, but I also am very aware that critique has many avenues by which it might reach me and I prioritize accordingly.

If the critique has helpful elements, I extract what I can. If not, we can lay that aside. If the critique is not offered by a trusted source, I don't prioritize it as highly as I would from that trusted source.

One other thing: if I make things that people want to critique in public space, I'm going to let y'all have it; I've given it to the public. It's not just mine anymore.
