A THREAD that puts all these circulated Kangana videos in context and correct timeline. These videos have been RTed by a certain section of the media & BW who are hell bent on painting her as hypocrite because she had slightly different experience in the industry a decade ago
Firstly, Kangana on various occasions , has talked about how nobody cared about her existence in her initial days. She didn't understand how toxic and revengeful the industry is until she became a well established star. She tried to blend in and thought industry will accept her
Now, that'll help you understand why Kangana talked about the quota theory in this interview from 2010. As a young actress , she tried to rationalize the presence of star kids, but that doesn't mean she didn't talk about the privilege of star kids in this same IV [1/2]
In the same IV , she talked about how industry treats outsiders differently and filmy kids are much more protected and are groomed for stardom. Of course this part was edited in the videos that were circulated [2/2]
In this 2011 interview, Kangana talked about how audience ultimately decides the fate of an actor. This is an outdated view now but was considered the golden truth a decade ago. Before the whole PR games and monopoly on screens came into limelight [1/2]
In the same IV , we can see KR is trying to fit in. She thought maybe if she learned english and worked on her style, they might accept her. Of course she realized later that the industry will treat her like sh!t , no matter what [2/2]
This video of Kangana praising Alia for raazi is being circulated to paint her as a hypocrite. She was called by Alia to the screening and Kangana who has always appreciated women centric films was thrilled to be there , she praised her to the moons [1/2]
But she realised during Manikarnika how petty these people are. Kangana showed up for Alia and Aamir's trials but none of them said a word for Manikarnika. This was before Kangana said a word against them, she was deeply hurt and decided not to give a damn anymore
Coming to the airport byte for Manikarnika. Few members from it's cast and crew decided to sabotage the film and give interviews to infamously anti KR media house @Bollyhungama on the very weekend it released. KR only responded to their allegations in her own style [1/4]
Kangana talked about it in an IV. She didn't ruin anybody's career. Didn't tell people to not work with them , didnt release blind items about them or called them names. She just defended herself cause nobody had the courage to call out zee, Kangana became the soft target [2/4]
Mishti's role was cut and Ankita's role was increased as Manikarnika's script went thru drastic changes when krish decided to leave. It had nothing to do with Kangana's personal vendetta but more of a creative decision [3/4]
It's so sad to see how lobby twist narratives. Kangana even stood up for laborers during Mani. She said she'll disassociate herself from the movie if they are not paid. She herself said actors get way too much importance [4/4]
Now , coming to this light-hearted conversation that has been blown out of proposition. When reporters pointed out her earlier multiple NA wins , Kangana playfully said she is proud of her work in Mani and would be "surprised" if she didn't win again but [1/2]
but very cleverly people edited out the part where Kangana said she'll appreciate any other actress who wins for her exceptional work [2/2]
This video is being used to say why she didn't name Sushant. Well, she was asked to choose between Ranveer and Ranbir. Plus she said "there are no bad actors, just bad performances"

Some people are saying Kangana didn't know Sushant , why she talking ? well 99.9 % people talking about him didn't know him. Kangana never pretended to be his friend unlike many from the first day. She was honest and transparent about how she felt
I think it's sad that every possible interview of KR has been shared by BW people out of context , yet none of them had the guts to call out Rajeev Masand. More sad is the fact that few are busy bashing her when she singlehandedly got this case back again in the public eye
