Again, a no brainer. I’m a big critic of his, but this has been a really tough year with the step up and injuries. Got all the ability, and a great attitude but has to kick on next year if he’s going to be as good as we sometimes hope he is. Stay. #avfc

Just before I reply to everyone, the big point is I’d rather spend our money on 4 or 5 really good players than spread it thinly again like we had to last summer. Of course we could upgrade everywhere - esp full back - but I’m looking at absolute priorities. #avfc
If we’re spending another £17m on a left back, that’s less we can spend on a winger. We’ve got a base now - improvement has to be done in stages. We can’t & shouldn’t be buying a whole new team again. #avfc
