2. Leadership (Take care of your Team, they'll take care of work) - A scientist (one in a team of 70) wanted to leave early, as he promised to take his kids to exhibition and sought permission from Kalam sir, who was leading the project.

The scientist was so involved in work, tht he lost track of time and realised so after too long. Dejected, tht the kids would be disappointed, he went home. However, his kids were not home, his wife informed that his boss came along and took kids to exhibition.

3. Co-exist with Nature - While working on construction project with DRDO, our former President sought suggestions to improve security. The Team Lead suggested to have broken glasses embedded on wall.

Kalam sir immediately shot down the suggestion saying, 'Birds cannot perch on the wall, think of something else'. A lesson to co-exist with Nature, which we forgot.

4. Cultivate Young Minds - A 6th std kid after reading 'Wings Of Fire', sketched Kalam sir and showed it to his family. They're impressed and asked him to mail it to President. Little did they expect a reply, let alone a hand-written note from Kalam sir himself.
Naman Narain (the kid) recalls "I opened the prized-envelope with utmost care and took out a small note. It said 'Dear Naman Narain, Thank you for your nice drawing. With best wishes from, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam'.

5. Challenges are to overcome - Kalam sir was about to deliver a lecture at a school, the electricity went off. Instead of panicking or waiting for it to come back, he walked right in to the middle of the crowd pointing towards the students to surround him. @Lost_History1
