I'm glad John MacArthur is standing up to Newsom's tyranny. But let's not forget that its the teachings of end-times rapture nonsense that has rendered the church in this pitiful state of acquiescence to government overreach.

The church is just standing around waiting to get out of here instead of standing up and taking possession. This is OUR earth and we were taught by Jesus Himself to pray: "Thy will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN"

Prov 10: 30 "The righteous shall NEVER BE REMOVED, but the wicked shall NOT inherit the earth"

End times rapture fiction goes totally against scriptures like this. It's an error and it's making people passive to tyranny bcos, hey, it's supposed to happen if the rapture is true.

We are not getting raptured. We are being empowered. Too bad so many people like the idea of being weak. That's why I'm not surprised so few preachers have stood up to Newsom. How could they when they're weak themselves, blasting their rapture teachings every Sunday.

There is another reformation underway. And it's one where Jesus followers actually understand their place in His kingdom, and actively walks it on this earth. Creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God.

But thanks to end-times rapture teachings, the sons eagerly awaits getting the F out of here. Sad
