I just read a comment on how Biggs was the only person who respected Cloud's space and was able to reach him because he was a teacher at Leaf House so he would be able to read Cloud's moods/tells because he's dealt with traumatized children and I'm fucking NOT OKAY.

To add on here in case like...people get in their feelings.
Several times in Remake Cloud's boundaries are invaded.

Jessie-'Flirting'
Tifa and Aerith-Being pushy/prying him
Barret-Physical accosting
Wedge and Johnny- Continuing to call him 'bro'

Biggs does none of this.

It just serves to highlight how skillfully and compassionate Biggs was toward Cloud. He didn't handle him with kid gloves but he did read him and gave him space to process shit.

Because he's tended to wounded/traumatized children at Leaf House and he HIMSELF has known that life, it makes sense that he could see the same beats in him.
