Sanghis like @_aviksarkar_ try to saffronize Bengal history - even by slandering their forefathers.

Devi Chowdhurani and Bhawani Pathak were part of Faqir-Sanyasi rebellion against the British - organized and lead by a Sufi named Majnu Shah.

Bhawani Pathak and Devi Chowdhurany weren't anti-Muslim bigots but leaders of Faqir-Sanyasi rebellion. They fought side by side with leaders like Majnu Shah, Musa Shah, Cherag Ali Shah, Paragal Shah, Sobhan Shah, Madar Baksh, Jari Shah, Karim Shah, Kripanath, Rowshan Shah.

Moreover Sanyasi revolutionaries were from Shaivite Dashnami community and were not Kali worshippers as he claims.

There have been several attempts to twist anti-colonial Faqir-Sanyasi rebellion as anti-Muslim Sanyasi Banditry.

Most famous of them is the novel AnandaMath by British Civil Servant Bunkum C Chatterjee. This is where the divisive song Vande Mataram originated.

That claim was debunked ironically in appendix of the novel itself.

Since @_aviksarkar_ pulled a Savarkar and blocked me, please let him know that we ALL know that his forefathers were "slaves of Sullas" who granted them title of Sarkar. There is no shame in that.

Real shame is that he is lying about his ancestors to further his hatred.
