A few thoughts on Eduardo Camavinga:
I‘d love nothing more than to see him end up at Bayern. If Real don‘t end up buying him, we should go all out for him. He‘s only 17 years old and already sought after by many top clubs after his impressive performance against PSG last year. (Definitely watch if you haven‘t yet)
One thing you‘ll instantly notice about Camavinga is his press resistance. He‘s very good at controlling the ball in tight areas and progressing it. This is extremely impressive for a 17 year old.
His off ball movement is excellent aswell. He always moves into open space and even creates free space with his dummy runs. In the example below you can see how he opens up a passing lane by moving to the free space in the middle and dragging an opponent with him.
His defensive contribution to Rennes is insane. He averaged 4.2 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per Ligue 1 game this season. For comparison, Thiago averaged 1.9 tackles and 1.9 interceptions per Bundesliga game this season.
Camavinga is not afraid of take ons and his dribbling already looks excellent. He only averages 0.8 dribbles per game this season (for example, Thiago averages about 3 per game) but that number will definitely rise in the coming seasons.
His passing range is excellent. Almost 90% (!) of his passes this season were successful. Even averaging 76% succes rate on long balls and 82% success rate on passes into the final third.
If you haven‘t seen Camavinga play I highly recommend you to do so. He‘s one of the most exciting players in his age class and someone I‘d love to see at Bayern. He definitely fits our profile and Brazzo for sure has him on the shortlist of possible Thiago replacements.
