A look behind the curtain (thread 1/3):
You're probably wondering what to think of the Coyotes-Chayka news. So am I, as are others close to the situation.
In the past few days, I have shared two entirely different accounts of the same story.

2/3: It is hard to reconcile the account that I shared today with the man I have known for the past five years.
I have found John Chayka to be fair, humble & exceptionally intelligent. His openness helped me to do my job better.

3/3: It's a shame that the Chayka-Coyotes relationship ended in such a public & ugly manner.
Know that with this story & all of my reporting, I only rely on sources with genuine knowledge of a situation & I will continue to pursue the truth.
Now about that play-in round...
