Christianity, Catholicism, CofE, various nationalisms were all ways that western people could coordinate.

They had some downsides, like a bunch of wars.

But Wokeism has a much worse downside: according to woke doctrine, Western people are the root of all evil.

In fact Wokeism is even worse than this. It is a religion of iterative self-destruction.

It arranges all sentient beings in concentric circles of "privilege", with straight cis white men as the absolute worst. Straight white men must be destroyed.

But Wokeism always needs fresh meat. Once straight white men are all unemployed and living under the railway bridge, a new target is needed.

Straight white women! Boom, you have the "Karen" phenomenon.

It is already eyeing up Asians and Brahmins as "white adjacent".

Philosophically, this movement will eventually destroy everything of value in the entire universe. It has to; it's like a burning ring of fire that spreads outwards from the centre of western civilization. It continually needs something new that's "privileged" to destroy.

In practice it will stop at some point, when some group manages to coordinate against it, or when material conditions deteriorate to the point that people don't respond to virtue signalling.

Coordinating against it in practice is very difficult.

You need to persuade people to adopt an enforcement mechanism that altruistically punishes those who don't punish the woke.

BTW all that stuff about "silence is violence"? That's Wokeism trying to program people with a "third party punishment" mechanism where they punish fence-sitters for not joining in the Woke army.

Talking about freedom of speech and tolerance is not going to defeat Wokeism. Third party punishment is an evolutionary stable strategy.

It is not enough to be passively tolerant, we must be actively anti-woke and actively pro- our own coordinating religion.

It's difficult to build a coordinating meme for the remnants of Western Civilization though.

Traditional Christian religion has (mostly) failed to keep up with the times. Science and technology and especially more comfortable material conditions make Christian religion weak. It is well documented that Christian religion does well in hard times and poor places.

You could use environmentalism, but when environmentalism changes from a pragmatic concern into a spiritual one, it becomes deeply dysfunctional.

This is because environmentalism *as a religion* tries to worship something that doesn't really exist ("the environment")

("the environment" only exists in the context of being of use or value to humans, so humans cannot worship it as an end in itself; nature has no intrinsic preferences and indeed in a few billion years the sun will turn into a red giant and destroy earth - all perfectly naturally)
