The perfect set-and-forget zombie team for the 2019-2020 FPL season. It would have finished 7th overall đŸ˜± [THREAD]

A set-and-forget "zombie team" is one that uses no transfers, chips, or other alterations. The team you set in GW1 is the team you're stuck with for the season. The team shown above uses only players available in GW1, not players who entered the game later on (e.g. Bruno).
CAPTAIN POINTS
KDB gets double captain points for every GW he plays. He misses GW's 8, 29, and 36. The best vice-captain on the team is Mane, who scored a total of 33 points during those weeks (thus raising his total points from 221 to 254).
BENCH POINTS
Subs jumped in for GW's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8*, 9, 13, 15*, 16, 20*, 21, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, and 36 ( * = GW's when two subs were required).

Rico scored 42 points as first sub, Dendoncker scored 33 as second sub when Rico did not play or when two subs were needed.
CONCLUSIONS
Was it possible to create this team in GW1? Not likely, but yes. And compared to previous seasons' best zombie teams, this one was easier to predict given what I remember of the pre-season conversation, especially when it came to the best available budget subs.
CONCLUSIONS (cont.)
The lesson learned in this exercise is to trust your top players. Each of them had a dip in form at some point, but it ultimately paid off in a huge way to hang on to them. If you play the hokey cokey you're just going to miss out on their big hauls.
CONCLUSIONS (cont.)
You need two playing subs in this era of rotation. Players on this team missed a combined 22 games, which is a lot more than last season among top players. And with the short off-season, I would expect that we continue to see lots of rotation in the future.
CONCLUSIONS (cont.)
Looking at a zombie team that would have finished 7th overall might be discouraging to those who spent countless hours on their teams. And maybe that's the point. Maybe we don't need to fret so much. Patience and self-control can pay off in the long run.
And with that my collection of threads for the 19/20 season comes to a close. It's been a wild ride. I'll see you in just a few weeks!
CORRECTION: Enda Stevens started the season at 5.0 not 4.5. However, George Baldock scored the same amount of points (142) and was listed at 4.5 at the beginning of the season. Replacing Stevens with Baldock makes no difference to the total points.
