This season nearly every team has had a new kid on the block thats taken us by surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed watching so many young stars shine.
SO...

The Season of Wonderkids (a thread):
Saka x Martinelli.
7 assists, 5 goals. Saka's temperament in the final third is hella special. O'Shea level versatile - played LM/LB/LW/RW in one season.

Martinelli might be a little forgotten cause of injury but possibly one of the most exciting young prospects. Ask Kante.
Douglas Luiz.
Little bit of a stretch considering he's 22 & not a kid but considering he'd played most his career at Girona; he's had a solid season. While Grealish has been roaming around with his hench calves & McGinn injured; Luiz has held it down in the middle.
David Brooks.
If it wasn't for his injury I'm pretty sure Bournemouth would've stayed up. 7 goals 5 assists last season & was putting them on a plate like a dinner lady. Convinced someone will pick him up - reminds me of the young Lallana at Saints but a less Cruyff turns.
Maupay x Lamptey.
If you watched the Championship then Maupay's debut season wouldn't have surprised you - goal scorer through and wind-up merchant.
Maybe another Chelsea kid that's gonna break through and be a special talent. Rapid and serious raw ability.
Both impressive.
Dwight McNeil.
Often overlooked cause of Burnley's style of play but provides them with that quality on the ball when games get tight. The crossing machine TAA has put in 382 crosses this season. McNeil's popped up with 257 - WHIP Wood Goal.
Mount x Pulisic x Abraham.
Mount's pressing & run of assists/goals early in the season have made him Lampards adopted son.
The American dream is well & truly underway - ridiculously talented. Magic man.
Tammy's 15 goals have been lost in injury. Talent.
S/O James/Gilmour
DCL.
Almost easy to forget how good he was in his purple patch. A pure flick-on lover and a serious knack for a tap in. Open net.
Yes - he's been about for a while but finally some serious potential being fulfilled & under Don Carlo, he could be a revelation.
Barnes.
Silly ability to race by defenders and make them look like they've got a truck on their back.
Slowly improved his game as the season went on, expecting big things.
Alexander-Arnold.
Feels unfair to call this guy a kid considering the numbers he's produced the last two seasons but can't forget he's only 21 years old. Arguably top five most creative players in the league & he's a right back. Right back turned right winger.
Foden.
Raw skill, ability and insane levels of calmness. It's like David Silva has been reborn in Stockport - not seen too many teenagers with the coldness he has (there is one other, he's on the next tweet). Left foot like Iniesta, left eyebrow slit like Ian Beale.
Greenwood.
Possibly the coldest kid I've seen since forever. Give him the ball & he'll pretty much puncher a hole in the keeper before it reaches the net. Left or right foot - he'll cause damage in years to come. Natural finisher.
ASM.
We've known about him for a while & even this season seen him in glimpses. But if he can sort his hamstrings out then he's gonna terrorise teams with his sheer power & desire to rinse defenders. Add in his immense tweeting skills - guys a star. Exciting to watch.
Aarons x Cantwell.
100% both going to have a lot of interest in the summer. Its rare a relegated side shows such signs of good quality. Todd's dancing feet and old school ballet dancing on the ball works a treat. Aarons' stamina to get up & down is modern day dream for managers.
Sheffield United.
The whole team is full of gems that have been rejected or dropped or left behind in football and Yorkshire's finest Wilder has given them CPR and bought them back to life.
Special mention for Henderson.
Smallbone.
Didn't get to see enough of him but showed so much quality and calmness when he's been used; cracking little player.
Shoutout JWP - 25 now but he's now delivering the 'Beckham-esque' tech we've all been told he would deliver.
Bergwijn.
I'm praying Jose doesn't play him out of position cause this guy can send defenders for hotdogs constantly. Couple of magical moments - the City one might be a real sign of things to come. Mou - please let him do his thing.
Razzle n Dazzle.
Sarr.
A big reason Liverpool's unbeaten streak was ended. Sticks on the afterburners and nobody is catching him. Another one who's injury absolutely murdered his teams progress. Watford could've been saved had they kept him fit.
Rice.
I know everybody knows him but we got a taster of what he can do last season. This season played in his preferred position and oozes class. Makes Noble's job easy and keeps the ageing ledge ticking. Fitting that he scored a rocket to keep them up vs Watford. (still just 21)
Traore.
He's 24 & probably the easy option but I dont care. BT Sport drop a clip of him bullying teams every time he plays and rightly so. He's basically unstoppable and now has a final product that can kill. If he can stop his shoulder popping out every minute - he'll smash it.
Defo missed some names off this list so drop them in.
Fully just fancied doing this cause it's been my favourite Premier League season & we've been treated to some serious talents this campaign.
Some dancers and others just razzlers n dazzlers.
