My player ratings for Chelsea’s 2019/20 season. Completely honest but 100% my opinion so don’t get mad at me
Kepa Arrizabalaga: 4/10
I stuck with him for too long, we all blamed the defence for his lack of form but having paid £72m for him you expect way more than a 50% save percent. For his sake I think a move would be good for him, I honestly would like to see him do well

Antonio Rüdiger: 6/10
Where do I start. At the start of the season when we were making defensive mistakes we were all in high hopes for his return but it was underwhelming at best. He hasn’t been THAT bad but definitely not the same player we had before and expected again

Has so so so much potential, he can put a decent ball into the box and he has some defensive capabilities. However, it could be better from him and that’s what knocks his rating down. If he got slightly better at defending he’s a contender for the best RB itl

Andreas Christensen: 7/10
Everyone seems to be hating on him but overall I don’t think his seasons been that bad. He’s had a slight dip in form recently but altogether he’s mostly decent. Could definitely improve on him tho average at best

Kurt Zouma: 8/10
What a fucking beast this guy is. Easily probably our best defender, wins a lot of balls put into the box, puts good pressure on and can bang one in at the other end with his head if you really need him to

César Azpilicueta: 8/10
My captain. So underrated at the moment. Gets some important assists, even some goals whenever he wants and can play wherever you need him in the defence, so versatile. Baller

Marcos Alonso: 6/10
I have such mixed opinions about Alonso. On one hand he creates some good chances and even scores a few, however on the other hand he’s slow, isn’t that good at defending and is so reckless and ends up giving away penalties and free kicks.

Mateo Kovačić: 11/10
What a fucking baller this man is, our Player of the Year 100%. He can create chances, he can dribble past the other team, he creates so much space for himself and overall is just a good player to keep the team together. If only he shot more, he would score

Jorginho: 7/10
Jorginho is a good player don’t get me wrong, but I feel like he needs back up. Without the likes of Kovacic or Kate beside him he makes defensive errors and could be at fault for some things. However, with someone to back him up, baller

Ngolo Kante: 7/10
I feel like this season has been tough for Kante. He’s such a great player but he’s struggled with injuries and being played in the wrong position is not ideal. However, when played in the right position he is amazing to watch, so nice but so unforgiving

Billy Gilmour: 8/10
What a debut season for this guy. MOTM in his first two starts and one against Liverpool. Absolutely mugged off Fabinho. I feel like this baller will grow up to be an absolute legend for the club, shame he got injured recently tho

Mason Mount: 10/10
Money Mase himself. He may not score or assist often enough for some people who slander him, but this man is Chelsea through and through. His work ethic is insane and you can tell he wants to play. I feel like he controls the team and will be such a legend

Ross Barkley: 8/10
I feel Ross Barkley doesn’t get enough recognition. He is just a decent player. There is improvements to be made but I feel that will come with time and for now we should just respect him. He clearly knows what he’s doing

Christian Pulisic: 9/10
Now, it would be impossible for Pulisic to get a 10/10. With injuries from Dortmund and limited starts holding him back, he’s still made a name for himself. If he’s played every game this season and performed like he has been recently, POTY contender

He looked SO promising at the start of the season. By the way he was playing we all thought he would be world class in a few seasons, but recently he’s been average. Falls lever a lot which can be worked on. However, 15 goals in a debut season, not bad for him

What a player since the restart. Scored in almost every game he’s started this season. I feel like he probably should’ve been starting over Tammy at the start of the season and by now he would have the golden boot. However, I don’t think he’ll play next season

This isn’t the same CHO that we saw last season. Coming off the back of an injury like he did though, hasn’t been that bad. Very consistent player I just wish he started more. Next season will be a big one for him

Don’t get me wrong, he’s wasn’t bad this season, but he wasn’t exactly good either. So inconsistent most of the time. Would have good games one week and shit games the next. Wish CHO had been playing instead of him tbh. However, the team could miss him next season
