Players I would I like at Arsenal - THREAD

• Aouar (technical, versatile - would be an ambitious move)

• Szoboszlai (bit risky but if we can't get Aouar, why not. Only seen few clips but looks decent)

• Gabriel - (cultured left foot, complete defender. Complements Saliba)
• I. Sarr - Had doubts how he would adapt from Rennes but he's been a bright spark in a mostly poor season for Watford. Takes on players, whips in a good ball, willing runner, why not? Still developing but I just have that feeling there's a top player that can be moulded.
• Godfrey - if we can ship out Holding and Sokratis, I'd buy him. Homegrown, established England U21, comfortable on the ball & imposing - should be decently priced

In a dream scenario (probably doesn't happen) Godfrey, Saliba, and Gabriel would be 3 decent CBs to build around
• Partey - I don't need to say much.

WORLD CLASS.

We all know his qualities by now. Just get it done.
• Édouard - undeniably excellent goalscoring record for France U21s and for Celtic too. Cynics will talk about the quality of the league but I prefer to focus on his characteristics. Drops deep to link play but can also finish off moves and arrive in the box well.
There's a few gems that come out the Scottish League every year that will surprise you. Different positions but Tierney has been outstanding for example. I feel you'll see that strikers from Scotland aren't supposedly bad. Morelos is another who has bagged goals and ......
looks to be heading to Lille to replace Osimhen. Édouard has bagged many more than he has & could prove a hit IF he can be tempted to leave. Only issue is he's very important in their plans, rumours he may be offered the no.7 shirt too. Asking price needs to be paid w/ no qualms
• Zaha - put him in here simply because Arteta seems to rate him. I've not been his biggest fan, especially consistency wise, I won't sit here and lie. But one thing that is good about him, is that he's a very unpredictable spark & can make things happen out of nothing.
Would consider buying him at around the £35m mark rather than £40m as reported
It seems that Arteta has had a change of tone in recent press conferences which suggest him being backed and he has talked constantly of being happy with the plans Edu and co. have in place, so it's up to the club to deliver for him.

We have a top manager on our hands.
Let me know if you liked the thread and want me to do more of these, don't claim to be an expert or always right on these things but just tried to give what I think is a balanced view of our situation. Absolutely vital also, that we win the FA Cup final to send a statement.
And lastly, my ideal team/hopefully realistic image of what the team could look like next season.
Hardest thing here was leaving Saka out, there's possibly another version I could do with him starting but we'll see.
Another option that I would also love to see is Martinelli as the CF. The club know his future his central and there's nothing you can't do through training him, he has the potential to be a world class #9 with the right teaching.

MASSIVE shame he's injured.
