So much ignorance in the comments section on articles about today's judicial review
1. NZers do not understand what a JR is. They think Dr Bloomfield is being sued personally
2. NZers do not understand that a fundamental role of the courts is to be a check on govt powers

Judicial reviews are a sign of a healthy democracy.
They are not a waste of taxpayer dollars.
They are not something to be afraid of or annoyed about.

"Trust the government" is not a motto of democracy. We SHOULD be asking questions.
