I spy with my little eye…something that makes me uneasy.

A story from earlier this week...

#Thread
Our story begins last week when someone saw something that seemed a bit...off? They weren't sure, but, it was enough to make them uneasy.

If this feeling sounds familiar, we can't shout about it enough - please, please, please report it.
Even if it's something relatively minor, your information helps direct our operational activity. We wouldn't be nearly as successful if we were to operate solely based on a whim.
I mean, sometimes "luck" pays off too and 'a hunch' can reap reward, but generally speaking, intelligence is at the crux of why we do what we do.
SO anyway. Earlier this week, a report came in about a vehicle where the occupants were thought to be dealing drugs…Information that easily could’ve been dismissed – they weren't certain after all. It could just have easily been a Tic-Tac.
The information was passed to us and whilst on routine patrol the following evening, our officers spotted the car.

They pulled it over and...
Asked the occupants some questions...
(no, they weren't US cops!)

As the occupants were unable to provide a reason for being in Surrey, the vehicle was searched and cash, numerous phones, cannabis and a quantity of Class A drugs were found.

Kerching!!!
Five people were subsequently charged with conspiracy to supply Class A Crack and Heroin and remanded to appear in court again next month.
All of this happened from a single intelligence report…

Makes you think. What could your information lead to? #SeeTheBiggerPicture
