Revolutions & mass uprisings can’t be micromanaged.
You can micromanage your own orgs & organized protests, you can definitely use both to *influence* the aims of an uprising & the direction of a mass movement, but you can’t micromanage how people show up in a time of revolution. It actually undermines the revolutionary energy.

The higher up you get, the more broad the involvement. That’s why revolution can’t be micromanaged. That’s also why “you can kill a revolutionary but not the revolution“ or its ideas.

People frequently confuse or blur the lines between individuals, orgs, movements & ideas.
Individuals & orgs can spark movements but a movement will always comprise many more individuals & orgs than the originators. And if you try to micromanage too much, the movement will dissipate b/c it inhibits the kind of organic growth that makes mass movement possible.
