So, here's a thread that may be of some use to you, the STAR WARS fan, regarding upcoming projects.

When the The Prequel Trilogy (PT) wrapped up in 2005, the fandom was split down the middle. Half the fandom loved the movies, the other half hated them with a passion.
A few years later, THE CLONE WARS began to heal those wounds by a) legitimizing the Prequel-era with additional content and b) improving and expanding upon characters and storylines and filling in perceived issues/plotholes with the PT.
STAR WARS traditionally jumps to a certain point in time and works its way backward & forward from it. CLONE WARS between II & III. REBELS & ROGUE ONE between PT & OT. RESISTANCE during VII & VIII. MANDALORIAN post VI. THE HIGH REPUBLIC 200 years before PT, etc.
So, here we are, post-THE RISE OF SKYWALKER and the Sequel Trilogy has wrapped up, with the fandom split down the middle yet again. Half the fandom hated TLJ, while the other half hated TROS. How do we fix this?
An animated series ala CLONE WARS / REBELS that takes place between VI and VII that a) legitimizes the Sequel Trilogy era and b) expands upon characters and storylines, filling in perceived issues/plotholes with the Sequel Trilogy.
We'll get an animated series that will show us everything we missed in the ST, featuring a young Ben Solo in the Ahsoka spot (mirroring Ahsoka/Anakin and Ezra/Kanan) with Master Luke Skywalker at the height of his powers.
We'll see The Battle of Jakku, the formation of the New Republic, the Imperial Remnant and the beginnings of the First Order, the seduction of Ben Solo by Snoke (and Palpatine's maneuvering from Exegol), etc. We may even get an epilogue post-TROS that shows Ghost Ben.
I say all of this to say that if you're unhappy about the way the Sequel Trilogy played out, it will be improved upon with time and additional content, the way CLONE WARS "fixed" the PT for many fans and made them appreciate a new and very different era of STAR WARS.
