There has been a lot of tweets about relocating out of 9ja...Like it or not there will always be 2 or more sides to it...I will share a story of a kid brother....I do call him 22....22 lost her mum when he was in primary 3....stayed at Ajegunle in Lagos...with grandma...dad has..
Multiple women...22 dropped out of primary school unable to read or write ....I meet 22 at Ikorodu when i was operating a chemist and supermarket...at that time he had learned how to make shoes and slippers also he knows how to repair bicycles which he learnt how to at Ajegunle
I assisted 22 to use my shop to sell his goods...when i go home at 9pm...22 managed my shop till 12am ...diligently and he will render account the following morning...i fell in love with him...Fast forward ....I left 9ja ....at some point I got a contact of a friend in Dubai....
I told 22, will he go to Dubai...he said yes...we started it...after 3 months 22 arrived in Dubai....he must get a job within 3 months else he will have to go back to 9ja....one thing leads to the other...he got a job at a bicycles sales outlet and the company also rent bikes to
he was employed as a bike repairman...Now 22 heads one of the branches of the companys...remember 22 dropped out of primary school....now 22 rents apartments and sub let to new arriving Nigerians...Now 22 is building his house at Ikorodu...Now 22 can converse fluently in English.
Make out anything out of this story...it will not change 22 trajectory to success.....or change UAE ..or change NIGERIA.
