Protecting your child against sexual predators begins at birth.

1. Don't change UR baby in front of people. Treat this as private as you going to the bathroom.

2. Don't allow other people you haven't vetted to change UR baby's diapers.

3. Don't leave UR baby w/random sitters.
4. If you're going to have a guest room and people staying in your home while you have children in the house, consider having a surveillance camera installed showing the door to your children's bedroom and inside their bedroom.

EXAMPLE: When I was a child my mother's boyfriends
and/or overnight guests would sneak into my bedroom.

5. Teach your children from the time they are teeny tiny that if anyone speaks to them about their "private parts" or anyone's private parts - this is wrong and they should tell you about it immediately.
6. By the time your child is in elementary school they will meet children who are engaging in open mouth kissing and fondling.

7. By the time your child is 13, 14, they will know other children who have had abortions.
8. Conversations about boundaries and pedo-grooming techniques should begin before your daughter has her period.

9. Conversations about boundaries and pedo-grooming techniques should begin before your son/daughter goes away to summer camp.
When you begin to teach your child how to cross the street and how to tie their shoelaces, and how never to get inside a stranger's car, and how never to leave school with a stranger >> this is the time to teach them about "grooming practices".
11. If an adult, be it a teacher, a neighbor, any adult pays too much attention to your child this should be considered a RED FLAG.

12. Remember, flattery is the number one way to either you or your children.

13. Don't allow your children to accept "gifts" from adults. PERIOD.
14. When a predator encounters a strong parent, that predator will move on.

15. Predators go for the lowest hanging fruit. Keep your child (and yourself) from being the lowest hanging fruit.
16. Give UR child the best education U can give them. Have them learn a valuable skill they can use 2 make a decent income (w/o having 2 depend on anyone).

17. Knowledge is always power. And power makes a person self-confident.

18. Self-confidence is a repellent for predators.
We have an open window at this moment in time to learn about predatory behavior. To protect ourselves, to protect our children, to protect the next generations.
